Rowan trees have smooth, silvery-brown bark and fern-like leaves that turn a deep red in autumn. In spring, they produce clusters of creamy-white flowers, followed by bright orange-red berries in the fall. Their slender form makes them a suitable specimen tree for gardens and an excelent small size amenity tree. <br> <br> The leaves are a food source for the caterpillars of several moth species. Its flowers provide nectar and pollen for pollinators such as bees.
