Description
This variety produces a very large apple with a sweet pear-like flavour and firm, crisp flesh. The tree itself is a vigorous grower and the golden green apples, which are ready by late October will store well into the winter.
The original tree was raised by a gardener from Roundway Park near Devizes, Wiltshire during the 1860s.
