Description
Known for its ornamental value, the Hupeh rowan is a small, deciduous tree native to central and western China that grows to a height of 4–8 meters.
Its grey-brown bark and green leaves provide a backdrop for its most striking features. In late spring, clusters of white flowers emerge, followed by berries that start pink and then mature to a glossy white. This unique display of white fruit is beautifully complemented by the tree's vivid orange or red autumn foliage.
The Hupeh rowan, also known as Sorbus pseudohupehensis, has earned the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
Grown in peat free 5L pots. UK and Ireland Sourced and Grown (UKISG).
