Porter’s Perfection is a late season, vintage quality bittersharp. It originated from East Lambrook, Somerset during the 19th century and has been highly regarded for the quality of its juice by cider-makers ever since. It is a healthy, vigorous grower with a large, spreading habit, producing heavy crops of apples to be harvested in the second half of November. An excellent choice for blending to make a full-bodied, vintage quality cider. Apples are generally small but will often be fused, making for some interesting looking fruit!
