Description
Whimple Wonder makes a lovely cooking apple, breaking down to a smooth, sweet and fruity puree - similar to a Bramley but sweeter - it requires no sugar when cooked.
It was historically grown in the village of Whimple in East Devon, just down the road from our nursery, where its main use was as a late-season sharp cider apple, and can still be used as such. It makes a healthy tree, apples are disease-free and a good size. A highly recommendable local Devon variety.
Please note, the 12 L potted tree option is for collection only. We can organise pallet delivery for a cost of £100 plus VAT, this will cover 12 - 20 potted trees (depending on age of tree and size of pot) or a mixture of pots and bare rooted trees, please get in touch if you would like us to arrange this for you.
