Description
Also known as Reine Claude d'Althan, this is often regarded as one of the tastiest gages! It was grown originally in Belgium, in the mid-19th century.
Like other late-season gages such as Coe's Golden Drop, there is not much that beats picking these wonderful fruit straight from the tree in early/mid September; juicy, sticky and sweet!
Will be pollinated by Victoria, Hauszwetche, Shropshire Prune, Oullin's, and other plums in flowering group 3 or 4.
