Description
Catshead is believed to a be a very old English apple, with citations dating back to 1629. Viewed from the side the fruit can sometimes bear resemblance to the shape of a cat’s head - though you might have to use your imagination! It cooks down to a sharp, firm puree, making it perfect for sauces and stewed apple.
