Description
A second early/mid dessert apple known to be growing in theTamar Valley back to 1900. Good for cooking in tarts as when sliced it does not break down. Genetic testing shows it to be the same as Bloody Butcher in the National Fruit Collection. A variety re-discovered by James Evans and Mary Martin.
