Description
A really spectacular pear - juicy, buttery, melting flesh. Ready to harvest and eat in late Sept/early October. Pears can be a good size, and it makes a fairly strong growing tree on good ground.
Raised in France in 1837, this legendary heritage pear is widely considered by fruit connoisseurs to be one of the finest-flavoured dessert pears in existence!
